Dominican Rey was born in NYC, raised in the MIA, and parents from Dominican Republic, therefore D. Rey has had the best of three worlds, lifestyle, and music cultures!

 

D. Rey became an Artist by the tender age of 5 (yet from birth due to his father www.hectorfabian.com & his Island/African roots), started to live the Hip Hop life before the age of 10, freestyling in local street cyphers by 12, and wrote his first song by 13.

 

With influences from Uncle Al (RIP), all the way to Guru (RIP), and even artists like Fulanito (an Artist from the Dominican Republic), D.R. is not only a versatile/well rounded artist, yet the connection from past eras & eras to come.
